Piano Duo Rainer Bürck - Robert Rühle

Between 1990 and 1995 Rainer Bürck and Robert Rühle collaborated as a piano duo, focusing on contemporary music. They have performed at numerous international venues and festivals of contemporary music in major European cities, including:

the Annual Festival of Electroacoustic Music at City University, London / England

the festival Musica Verticale in Rome / Italy

the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in Huddersfield / England

the festival Tage für live-elektronische Musik in Basel / Switzerland

the festival Aspekte in Salzburg / Austria

the Klangwerkstatt Festival in Mannheim / Germany

and concerts in Berlin, Dresden, Nürnberg, Karlsruhe, Zürich, Edinburgh and many further places in Europe.

In November 1992 Rainer Bürck and Robert Rühle played a concert for the Südwestfunk Radio, which was broadcast in March 1993.

The piano duo premiered works by Simon Emmerson (London), Miachael Gorodecki (London), Virginia Scott (Wales), Dan Roger (Birmingham), Laura Bianchini (Rome), Mesias Maiguashca (Ecuador and Baden-Baden/Germany), Wilfried Jentzsch (Dresden), Frank Schweizer (Karlsruhe), Rainer Bürck.
